Operator App Privacy Policy
The Operator App is the phone version of Investimates, bookkeeping and job software for small businesses. It shows the same account you use at app.investimates.io. The full Investimates Privacy Policy also applies; this page covers what is specific to the app.
What the app uses
- Your account and your business's records: what you and your staff enter in Investimates (clients, estimates, invoices, payments, bank and check details, crew time, messages). They are stored on our servers in the United States so they are the same on every device.
- Photos and files you choose to add with the camera or from your photo library: client folders, receipts, photos on estimates and invoices. The app only uses the camera or library when you tap to add a photo.
- A notification address for your phone (a push token from Apple or Google), so the bell can ring on your phone. It is removed when you log out in the app.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data or your clients' data, and we do not use it for advertising.
- The app has no advertising and no third-party tracking.
- Your clients only see what you choose to share through their client portal.
Who else handles it
Only the services needed to run the app: our hosting provider, Google Firebase and Apple for notifications, and, if you turn them on, our email, texting and payment providers. Each gets only what its job needs.
Deleting your account
In the app, open More → Delete my account, or email info@investimates.io. We confirm with you by email, then delete your login and your books. We keep only what the law requires us to keep (for example payment records), and only for as long as it requires.
